Apple Cider Margaritas

The season that everyone longs for is finally here. Fall. Autumn. PSL Time. Whatever you want to call it, it’s here. That time of year when the breeze gets cooler, the flavors get warmer and the leaves get brighter. We love this time of year, especially those first days of the changing season. After spending months in hot, humid Tennessee, it’s so refreshing to take that first breath of crisp, Fall air.

Normally in October when we pull down our boxes full of warm sweaters from storage we start brainstorming about foods we want to eat and drinks we want to drink. All of the soup, chili, apple crisps and ALL of the whiskey cocktails. Normally we crave the warming, honey-like flavors of whiskey in colder months because it’s a great way to stay cozy. But this year we started thinking “How do we wear sweaters and still drink margaritas?” Essentially, we’re creating the perfect cocktail to transition from Summer to Fall.
